After fits and starts and unsuccessful attempts at predicting the future, our group show "Growth & Transitions: Pandemic Perspectives" has been postponed to February 2022. Yep. That feels like waaaaaaay off in the future, doesn't it. But there's nothing to be done about it and all we can hope for is that by that time we will all be able to gather at a Gallery! Festival! Market! or a PARTY! *sigh*
Meanwhile, the wonderful group I am part of has taken this on the chin, then in stride and so we will be using our energies to ensure that the work is documented and that we capture what the show's theme is all about: Pandemic Perspectives. And so here we are trying to work and show art and get it seen during a pandemic and wait out lockdowns and restrictions. Hopefully, with a large percentage of folks being vaccinated, we will enjoy those gatherings that we miss so much now.
I leave you with one of the works I painted for this show, "Bubble". Please know that I have beautiful reproductions of the work for this show. Reach out if you'd like to purchase one. Maybe for a healthcare worker you know or someone working hard to keep us all safe. xx
